I write mainly about wine. I tackle independent and low-intervention winemakers—like people who crush grapes at custom crush facilities, or ferment wine in their own backyard. To each of these articles, I bring the expertise I gained running Big West Wine Fest and working in wine sales for over five years.
I also cover food and culture. I explore the underground and the unusual: like restaurant pop-ups, supper clubs, and private chefs who cook for touring musicians.
